Living in a South Carolina county where the cicadas have made their presence known, it’s hard to ignore the deafening noise that surrounds us. The sound of their buzzing fills the air, and for some residents, it’s become too much to bear. In what can only be described as a bizarre turn of events, people are actually calling the police to complain about these harmless insects. The sheer absurdity of the situation leaves me shaking my head in disbelief.
