Tennessee woman gets over 3 years in prison for blocking clinic access during protest

This Tennessee woman, Julia Williams, recently made headlines for all the wrong reasons. She was sentenced to over three years in prison for blocking clinic access during a protest at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Manhattan. The indictment against her revealed that she had proudly declared on her livestream that they would “terrorize this place” and boasted about more people joining in. It’s pretty ironic how she asked for leniency, citing a traumatic childhood and her own abortion at 15, only to now face the consequences of her actions.
