Obama Presidential Center Opening Features Star-Studded Lineup

This celebration, designed to honor the values that defined the Obama presidency, will be livestreamed and marks the commencement of Juneteenth weekend festivities. The 19-acre Chicago campus features a unique blend of public spaces, including a library and museum, diverging from traditional presidential library models. In contrast, former President Trump, who has criticized the center, was reportedly “welcome” to attend, despite his absence from the star-studded lineup.
