China Urges Calm Amidst Russian Nuclear Threat

Following Russia’s nuclear threat and Ukraine’s first long-range missile strike on Russian territory using US-supplied weapons, China urged all parties to remain calm and exercise restraint. Beijing called for dialogue and consultation to de-escalate tensions and reduce strategic risks, reiterating its commitment to a political resolution of the Ukraine crisis.
