I can’t imagine the sheer horror and devastation that would follow realizing that your own child has died due to being left unattended in a hot car. The recent heartbreaking incident in New Jersey where an 8-week-old girl lost her life in this tragic manner is a stark reminder of the unfathomable consequences of a momentary lapse in memory or attention. As a parent myself, the mere thought of such a catastrophe sends shivers down my spine.
