Trump Threatens to Deploy Military to Chicago and NYC, Sparking Controversy

In a recent Oval Office address, former President Trump threatened to deploy active-duty military personnel to Chicago, citing an “incompetent mayor” and rampant crime. This move, similar to his actions in Washington, D.C., aims to “straighten out” the city, despite potential legal challenges under the Posse Comitatus Act, which restricts military involvement in civilian law enforcement. Trump claimed this plan, following his successes in D.C., would be welcomed by Chicago’s Black community. He also mentioned similar plans could be implemented in New York.

The group hopes the increased awareness and pressure will lead to Bam Bam’s safe return, with no questions asked, and are open to anonymous tips.

Governor JB Pritzker criticized President Trump’s suggestion of deploying National Guard troops to Chicago, comparing it to the Nazi Party’s dismantling of a constitutional republic in the 1930s. The fact that there were multiple bomb threats at hotels where delegates were staying adds to the level of concern and fear surrounding the event.

The individuals responsible for this heinous act need to be held accountable and face severe consequences for their actions. Tainting food in an attempt to harm or disrupt an event is absolutely unacceptable. It is alarming to think that people would go to such lengths to cause harm and spread fear.… Continue reading

Chicago banned unannounced migrant drop-offs. Now this Texas charter bus company is suing over the restrictions

What in the hell are we even doing anymore? Anyone have any idea?

As I read the headline and the comments surrounding the article, I can’t help but feel a sense of frustration and disappointment. It seems like we are collectively going nowhere very fast. The issue of immigration continues to divide us, and it’s disheartening to see the lack of progress and empathy on all sides.

Republicans currently have a seemingly good immigration deal on the table, but they hesitate to pursue it because they don’t want to make Biden look good.… Continue reading
