Mass shooting in Chicago leaves 1 child dead, 10 other people injured in Back of the Yards
As I read the heartbreaking news about the mass shooting in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood, where one child lost their life and ten others were injured, including three other children, my heart sank. The senseless violence that plagues our city is truly a tragedy that affects not only the victims and their families but the entire community as well. The fact that these innocent children were caught in the crossfire of what police believe to be a gang-related incident is utterly devastating.
