I can’t help but shake my head at the audacity and lack of remorse displayed by Marc Bru, a member of the Proud Boys, during his sentencing for his participation in the Capitol riot. Bru, who was handcuffed and shackled, boldly proclaimed, “You can give me 100 years and I’d do it all over again.” These words not only reflect his defiance towards the legal system but also his belief that he will be pardoned within a year.
