Ted Cruz warns Texas Republicans that his reelection is not in the bag
It seems that Ted Cruz is finally starting to realize that his reelection is not a sure thing. As a Texas Republican, I have to admit that it’s about time. Cruz’s recent warning to Texas Republicans is a stark reminder that even in a red state like Texas, his grip on power may not be as strong as he once thought.
The rise of career politicians like Cruz in Congress certainly deviates from what the Founders intended for our federal governing bodies. It’s refreshing to see Cruz acknowledge this fact, even if it is possibly out of self-interest. Perhaps this realization will prompt him to step aside gracefully and make way for new leadership that truly represents the interests of the people.… Continue reading
