Authorities have determined that buckshot from the shotgun of the man charged with attempting to storm the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner struck a Secret Service agent, according to the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia. Jeanine Pirro stated that a pellet from the defendant’s Mossberg pump-action shotgun was found intertwined with the fiber of the agent’s bullet-resistant vest, definitively identifying the projectile.
