Robotic police dog, Roscoe, went above and beyond the call of duty during a recent operation in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Deployed by the Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad on March 6th, Roscoe found himself facing an armed suspect in a tense situation. As the suspect fired upon the police, Roscoe, controlled remotely by state troopers, bravely ventured into the house to locate the threat.
In a harrowing turn of events, Roscoe was met with resistance from the armed suspect. Knocked over twice and shot three times, Roscoe’s communication was disabled, but not his resolve to fulfill his duty.
