When I heard about the Arizona man who was taken into custody for an alleged social media threat to kill former President Donald Trump, I was shocked and appalled. Trump supporters trying to doxx jurors and posting violent threats after his conviction is a truly despicable and dangerous display of the lengths these individuals will go to defend their idol. The fact that these people are resorting to such extreme measures simply because they do not agree with the outcome of a legal trial is both disturbing and alarming. It should not be tolerated in any civilized society.
The FBI needs to step in swiftly and take action against these individuals who are inciting violence and making threats against innocent jurors. As a resident of Wisconsin, the recent series of bomb threats faced by a middle school in our state has left me deeply disturbed. What is even more alarming is the connection these threats have to a TikTok account known as Libs of TikTok. This particular account has been identified as the source of numerous incidents where individuals or institutions mentioned in their posts subsequently received bomb threats or other forms of violent intimidation. It is appalling that such actions are being taken in response to mere social media posts.

After Libs of TikTok posted, at least 21 bomb threats followed. This shocking news highlights the dangerous impact of social media and the need for accountability when it comes to online content. The fact that the woman behind this account was appointed to the Oklahoma library board raises further concerns and questions about the system in place to protect the public.
What is truly disturbing is the lack of prosecution for these bomb threats. It seems that there is a double standard when it comes to online behavior, especially when it involves hate speech and incitement to violence.
