The recent news of the Biden effigy being beaten and kicked at a Kansas county GOP event has left me feeling a mix of shock, disbelief, and disappointment. As I watched the video footage of grown adults actively participating in this violent and hateful display, I couldn’t help but question the moral compass of those individuals involved. It is truly disheartening to witness such behavior at a major political event, where one would expect discussions and debates on policy, rather than acts of aggression towards an inanimate object.
