It was surprising to see the fallout from what seemed like a unique and interesting concept. The New York Post blamed Dublin’s “Guinness-glugging patrons” for the chaos that ensued around the portal. Reports of flashing body parts, swastikas, and even a dramatic cocaine snorting display painted a picture of utter disregard for the artistic intent behind the installation.
