This announcement comes as a much-needed reprieve for many who feel let down, deceived, and outright betrayed by the senator. As someone who put in time, money, and effort to support her during her election campaign in 2018, I can’t help but feel a sense of dismay at how far she strayed from the values and ideas she once purported to stand for.
