As I came across the headline about the Arizona GOP launching a billboard campaign with the message “‘EAT LESS KITTENS'”, I couldn’t help but shake my head in disbelief. The sheer audacity and absurdity of such a message is not only laughable but also deeply concerning. The debunked claims that immigrants are eating pets is not only false but also draws attention to the level of ignorance and fear-mongering that seems to permeate through certain political spheres.

The recent news about the Arizona GOP introducing a resolution to declare Trump the winner of the 2024 election, regardless of the vote, is truly alarming. It’s shocking to see a political party in the United States resort to such undemocratic tactics. This is the kind of behavior we would expect from a third world country, where elections are manipulated and controlled by those in power.

Arizona GOP lawmakers are at it again, always finding new ways to waste time and taxpayers’ money with blatantly unconstitutional bills. The latest one on their agenda? Senate Bill 1279, also known as the Reject Escalating Satanism by Preserving Essential Core Traditions Act, or RESPECT. This bill aims to prohibit satanic displays on public property in Arizona, because apparently, the GOP is the arbiter of what is acceptable on public land.
