Trump questions whether Harris is ‘Black’ at conference of Black journalists

Trump’s recent appearance at a conference of Black journalists was not only embarrassing but also deeply disturbing. The fact that the President of the United States could stand in front of a room filled with professional journalists of color and make insensitive and racist comments about Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris is appalling. His inability to give a straight answer to any questions posed to him, his tendency to resort to insults when faced with tough questions, and his complete lack of respect for the journalists in the room is a blatant display of his character.

During the event, Trump questioned Harris’ racial identity, stating, “Is she Indian or is she Black?… Continue reading

Donald Trump Says Kamala Harris ‘Used to be Indian…Until a Few Years Ago’ When ‘She Happened to Turn Black’ During Contentious NABJ Panel

Donald Trump’s recent comments at the National Association of Black Journalists panel regarding Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris have once again sparked outrage and disbelief among many, myself included. The audacity and ignorance displayed by the President is truly astonishing. To insinuate that Senator Harris “used to be Indian…until a few years ago when she happened to turn black” is not only offensive but shows a blatant disregard for the complexity and diversity of racial identity.

It is no secret that Trump has a long history of making racist and derogatory remarks, but his latest comments seem to reach a new low.… Continue reading

Trump called ‘grumpy, cruel, hard-of-hearing, race-baiting, a–hole’ after hostile NABJ interview

I recently witnessed what can only be described as a disastrous interview featuring former President Donald Trump at the National Association of Black Journalists convention. Trump, who had the audacity to call himself “the best president for the Black population since Abraham Lincoln,” faced a panel comprised of prominent and highly educated African Americans. The audience’s audible groans and reactions showcased the disconnect between Trump’s rhetoric and the reality of his performance.

During the interview, Trump came across as grumpy, cruel, hard-of-hearing, and a race-baiting a–hole. He seemed to have forgotten that he was not in front of his usual all-white rally crowd, leading to multiple factually incorrect statements and awkward exchanges.… Continue reading

Donald Trump’s gains with Black voters have been wiped out

While some may claim that former President Donald Trump made gains with Black voters, the truth is that these gains have been wiped out. The idea of Trump having any substantial support within the Black community is almost laughable. From his incessant racist remarks to his divisive policies, it’s hard to imagine any Black voter genuinely supporting such a candidate.

As a Black individual, hearing other Black people praise Trump for a measly $1200 check or claiming he did more for us than Obama is disheartening. It shows a lack of understanding of the bigger picture and the harm that Trump’s administration has caused to marginalized communities.… Continue reading

MAGA Enters Racist Meltdown Mode Over J.D. Vance’s Wife

MAGA Enters Racist Meltdown Mode Over J.D. Vance’s Wife

The recent uproar over J.D. Vance’s wife within the MAGA movement is a stark reminder of the deep-seated racism and xenophobia that continues to plague certain factions of American society. The attacks on his wife, based on her heritage and beliefs, are a disturbing reflection of the intolerance and bigotry that still run rampant in our country.

It is both disheartening and alarming to witness the lengths to which some individuals will go to express their hateful and discriminatory views. The fact that Vance, a prominent figure within the MAGA movement, is facing such vitriol from his own supporters speaks volumes about the toxic and divisive nature of this political ideology.… Continue reading

‘Hello from my Black job’: Black Americans share workplace photos after Trump’s bizarre debate line

When Trump uttered the words “Hello from my Black job” during the recent debate, it sent shockwaves through America. His blatant racism was on full display, yet again. The term “black jobs” seemed to perpetuate a stereotype that certain roles are reserved for people of color, specifically black Americans. In his narrow-minded view, these jobs are menial and low-paying, reinforcing negative racial biases. It’s a sad reality that in the 21st century, we still have a man in a position of power who holds such prejudiced beliefs.

The aftermath of Trump’s baffling remark saw a surge of black Americans defiantly sharing photos of themselves at their workplaces.… Continue reading

White Nebraska man shoots and wounds 7 Guatemalan immigrant neighbors

In a small Nebraska town called Crete, a disturbing and tragic event unfolded when a reclusive and confrontational white man, Billy Booth, shot and wounded seven Guatemalan immigrant neighbors, including four children ages 3 to 10. This shocking incident highlights the alarming consequences of hate-fueled actions in our society. The fact that Booth then took his own life adds another layer of despair to this already horrific situation.

The diversity of Crete, with about 50% Hispanic residents and almost 25% foreign-born individuals, was shaken by these senseless shootings. It is disheartening to see how hate and intolerance can lead to such violent acts within a community.… Continue reading

Trump blames immigrants for taking ‘Black jobs.’ Top economists debunk long-held arguments like it

Trump’s recent statement blaming immigrants for taking ‘Black jobs’ is not only racially charged but also grossly inaccurate. The term ‘Black jobs’ itself raises eyebrows and insinuates a segregation of the workforce based on race, which is archaic and unacceptable. As someone who believes in equality and meritocracy, such divisive language is disheartening to hear coming from the leader of a country as diverse as the United States.

The concept that immigrants are taking low-skill jobs from African Americans is a long-held argument that has been debunked by many economists. The truth is, employees do not ‘take jobs’ – they are hired and fired by employers based on a variety of factors.… Continue reading

Black Americans demand to know what ‘Black jobs’ are after Trump debate comment

When I heard Trump make that comment about ‘Black jobs’ during the debate, I was taken aback. It was like he was trying to classify certain low-paying, unskilled, and undesirable jobs as jobs that Black Americans should be doing. The veiled racism in that statement was disturbing, to say the least. It was a clear attempt to marginalize and pigeonhole Black Americans into certain roles based on outdated stereotypes and prejudices.

The fact that Trump used the term ‘Black jobs’ without any regard for how demeaning and condescending it sounded speaks volumes about his true beliefs and attitudes towards people of color.… Continue reading

‘Here’s Your Food, Ni—er’: DoorDash Driver Fired After Doorbell Cam Video Shows Him Spewing Racial Slur While Delivering Black Woman’s Order

As I watched the disturbing video of a DoorDash driver delivering food to a black woman and spewing a racial slur, I was filled with a mixture of anger, disbelief, and disappointment. The audacity of this individual to use such hateful language while being recorded on a doorbell camera is appalling. It makes me question how some people can harbor so much blind hatred towards others based on their race.

It’s disheartening to see that racism is still alive and well in our society, especially when it rears its ugly head in such a blatant and confrontational manner. The fact that the woman in question had to endure this vile behavior while simply trying to receive her food delivery is infuriating.… Continue reading
