It’s truly disheartening to hear that some of our fellow Indian citizens have been misled and coerced into joining the Russian military amidst the conflict in Ukraine. The idea that Indians were promised high wages and Russian passports only to find themselves trained to handle weapons and sent to the frontlines is deeply unsettling. The desperation and vulnerability of these individuals who were duped by shady recruiters in Dubai is alarming.
