How can the former President of the United States, the leader of one of the most powerful countries in the world, not know such a basic and fundamental fact about the government he was supposed to lead? It’s mind-boggling to think that a man who crashed his snowmobile into a parked Black Hawk helicopter is now suing the government for $9.5M. As an individual, I strongly believe in personal responsibility and accountability for our actions. The fact that this man was driving recklessly at night under the influence of alcohol is a clear indication of his irresponsibility. The excuses of not expecting a military aircraft on a rarely used airfield are simply absurd. If you hit a stationary object with your vehicle, it’s your fault – plain and simple.
