Alabama has followed in the footsteps of Governor DeSantis in banning lab-grown meat. The justification for such a move seems dubious at best. As someone who values conservative principles, the idea of letting the free market dictate the course of action should be paramount. The government intervening to ban a potential innovative technology goes against the very core of what conservatism should stand for.

The recent developments within the Supreme Court have left me feeling disillusioned and disheartened. It seems that the conservative majority on the court has abandoned their principles in a bizarre defense of Trump’s immunity claim. The court, which is supposed to uphold the highest values of justice and the Constitution, has lost the trust of the American people. It’s disheartening to witness how political motivations seem to overshadow the pursuit of justice and fairness.

It’s not that MAGA doesn’t believe E. Jean Carroll, they just don’t care that Trump abuses women. This statement perfectly encapsulates the mindset of many within the MAGA base. It’s not a matter of disbelief or lack of evidence; rather, it’s a conscious decision to support a leader who has a well-documented history of mistreating and disrespecting women.
Under Trump’s leadership, American conservatism has become even more repugnant in its treatment of women. Joe gets up at 6 a.m. and fills his coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards. With his first swallow of coffee, he takes his daily medication. His medications are safe to take because some stupid commie liberal fought to insure their safety and that they work as advertised. All but $10 of his medications are paid for by his employer’s medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance – now Joe gets it too.
