Further actions include freezing climate and infrastructure funding, harming farmers with misguided water releases, and escalating attacks on transgender rights. These actions, coupled with the appointment of controversial cabinet members and the detention of migrants in Guantanamo Bay, represent a widespread assault on democratic norms and global stability.
