Abdullah Ezzeldin Taha Mohamed Hassan, a George Mason University student, was arrested by the FBI for allegedly plotting a mass casualty attack against the Israeli consulate in New York. The investigation, initiated by a social media tip, revealed Hassan’s alleged online promotion of violence and his subsequent sharing of bomb-making instructions and attack plans with an undercover FBI informant. Hassan faces numerous federal charges, including distributing information related to weapons of mass destruction and intent to murder internationally protected persons.
