Speaking from Algeria, where he visited a mosque and a site significant to Saint Augustine, the pontiff highlighted the possibility of peaceful coexistence despite differing beliefs. This visit and his outspoken criticism of the US stance on the Iran war have escalated tensions with the Trump administration, with both the President and Vice President issuing sharp rebukes. The Pope, however, has stated he has no fear of the Trump administration and remains committed to sharing the Gospel’s message.
