Biden blames Putin for Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s death
I am deeply disturbed by the tragic news of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s death. The fact that he was slowly tortured and murdered in a Russian prison is a chilling reminder of the brutality and authoritarianism that exists in Putin’s regime. The world has indeed lost a brave and courageous man who was willing to fight for what he believed in, even at the risk of his own life.
It is not surprising that President Biden has pointed fingers directly at Putin for Navalny’s death. After all, Putin has a history of silencing his critics and political opponents through violent and oppressive means.… Continue reading
