I have to say, I wholeheartedly agree with Rep. Jeffries when he told the extreme MAGA Republicans to “get lost” and called them a joke for criticizing President Biden’s State of the Union speech as too political. I mean, how can a State of the Union address not be political? That’s the whole point of it, isn’t it? As a woman in today’s society, I am constantly bombarded with conflicting messages about what it means to be a woman. The recent remarks made by Katie Britt in response to Biden’s State of the Union address only served to deepen the confusion and frustration that many of us feel. In her “tradwife” response, Britt epitomized everything that is wrong with the GOP’s stance on women’s rights.
