The recent decision by the Supreme Court to side with South Carolina Republicans in the redistricting dispute is not surprising but nonetheless disheartening. Despite clear evidence of intentional gerrymandering to diminish the voting power of Black residents in the state, the conservative majority on the Court chose to prioritize partisan interests over upholding the rights of all voters.

As an Israeli citizen, the recent incident involving the seizure of AP equipment and the takedown of a live shot of northern Gaza by Israeli officials citing a new media law has left me deeply troubled. Recently, during a wild speech at the National Rifle Association (NRA), he proposed the idea of a three-term presidency for himself.
