I couldn’t help but cringe as I read about the Republican candidate in Colorado, Richard Holtorf, being grilled in an interview about his past actions regarding his girlfriend’s abortion. It’s astonishing how some politicians who claim to be pro-life can have such conflicting views when it comes to their personal lives. Holtorf stated that he believes in restricting abortion access but also mentioned that there should be exceptions to these restrictions. This hypocrisy is truly mind-boggling.

It’s truly astonishing to see the audacity of Donald Trump and his campaign staging an event at a black church in Detroit, only to fill it with mostly white attendees. The optics of this situation are beyond concerning. A church, a place of worship and sanctuary, should not be reduced to a mere event space for political rallies. As someone who voted for her in the past, it’s hard not to agree with the sentiment behind this new line of products.
