Following the 2020 Belarusian protests, Anželika Melnikaŭa, head of the Belarusian Coordination Council, and her two daughters disappeared from Warsaw. Polish authorities, notified by Pavel Latushka and Viasna, confirmed the disappearance on March 25th, delaying public announcement due to ongoing investigations. While Melnikaŭa had been outside Poland for weeks, Polish authorities pledged cooperation with international partners to locate her and her family.

His sister identified him from a USA Today article seeking to identify a nonverbal man hospitalized in Lynwood.
