US Election 2024

Trump Team Rattled by Record Early Voting Numbers as Concerns Grow Over 2024 Election Outcomes

The latest data suggests that women, who historically outvote men, are dominating early voting in the 2020 US Presidential election. Nationally, around 62 million early votes had been cast by 29 October, with 54% of these ballots cast by women, compared to 44% by men. This trend is replicated across many battleground states, displaying a 10-point gender gap in early voting. It has further been highlighted that the new group of voters expected to decide the election are mainly female registered democrats, poised to favor the Biden-Harris ticket. Since 1980, the number of female votes has consistently surpassed the number of male votes in each presidential election.

Former US President Donald Trump has sued CBS News for $10bn over an alleged embellished interview with Vice President Kamala Harris on the channel’s 60 Minutes show, which he deems as “election interference.” Trump contends that the interview was manipulated to present Harris positively, particularly her comments on Israel and the Gaza war, and claimed that this equates to unlawful voter interference. His filing in a US district court in Amarillo, Texas termed CBS’s actions as malicious and deceptive. CBS has dismissed the claim as “completely without merit.” The row follows Trump suggesting that CBS should lose its news broadcast license.

A lawsuit against Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his political action committee (PAC) regarding their $1 million daily giveaways to registered voters has been returned to a state court in Pennsylvania. Krasner’s request to bar Musk and his PAC from awarding further prizes will be considered by a Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas judge. US Judge Moves Elon Musk’s $1M Voter Scheme Lawsuit Back to State Court

A Federal judge has rejected an effort by Elon Musk-backed political action committee (PAC) America Pac to move a civil lawsuit brought by the Philadelphia District Attorney over a daily $1m prize draw for registered voters to federal court. The judge determined that the District Attorney’s motives are irrelevant, and his office could bring the case to state court. The lawsuit aims to halt the scheme in Pennsylvania and claims that a call for voters in battleground states to provide their phone numbers, addresses and emails in exchange for a cash sum and entry into the prize draw is illegal under state law. It also claims that the PAC and Musk breached state consumer protection laws by making misleading statements. Commentators have suggested that by alleging multiple winners turned up at Trump rallies, the District Attorney is arguing that winners are not chosen randomly as claimed.

US Officials Link Georgia Voter Fraud Video to Russian Influence Operations Amid Growing Concerns Over Misinformation

A video purported to depict voter fraud in Georgia has been debunked as fake and stated to be the product of “Russian influence actors” by U.S. intelligence officials. They warned that attempts to undermine the upcoming elections may persist, with Russia expected to create and release further media content that looks to undermine trust in the integrity of the U.S. electoral system. The video, developed by Russian disinformation network Storm-1516 (aka CopyCop), claimed to show a Haitian immigrant intending to vote multiple times using several fake Georgia IDs. The original video has since been taken offline but versions continue to be shared. Intelligence chiefs announced that another manufactured video falsely accusing someone associated with the Democratic candidate of taking a bribe from a U.S. performer has also been attributed to Russia.

Presidential predictor Allan Lichtman stands by call that Harris will win 2024 election

Allan Lichtman, the historian who has made a name for himself as a presidential predictor, has firmly stated his belief that Vice President Kamala Harris will win the 2024 election. This assertion, bold and unapologetic, comes amidst an electoral landscape that has been muddied by numerous unpredictable factors—political gambling, speculation-driven polling, and the persistent specter of extremism brought forth by figures like Donald Trump. As an enthusiastic observer of these developments, I find myself both hopeful and concerned about how this prediction will unfold.

Lichtman’s track record has been remarkable; he’s been able to call the winners of nearly every election since the 1980s.… Continue reading

2 new polls show Harris leading Trump as the election nears. Women continue to propel the VP’s candidacy

Recent polls are showing a surprising turn of events as Kamala Harris leads Donald Trump as the election draws near. As a woman deeply invested in this election cycle, I find this trend particularly encouraging, especially given the crucial role women are playing in propelling her candidacy forward. This moment feels significant, not only for the Democratic ticket but for our country as a whole.

I think we can all agree that the political landscape over the last several years has been unsettling. The discourse around women’s rights—especially concerning reproductive health—has thrust many women into a political awakening. The fact that polls show Harris leading Trump, particularly among women, showcases that we are taking a stand in a way that could change the tide of this election.… Continue reading

“Are you going to present it ever?”: Trump stunned by Rogan’s ask for evidence of voter fraud

“Are you going to present it ever?” echoes in my mind, a haunting refrain that encapsulates the stunning moment when Joe Rogan asked Donald Trump to substantiate his long-standing allegations of voter fraud. It’s surreal to witness someone who has spent years making unverified claims suddenly falter when faced with a direct question. The second-hand embarrassment I felt was crushing. Here was Trump, the king of conspiracy, caught off guard, momentarily speechless because the reality of his fabrications was too palpable to ignore.

Trump’s refusal to provide evidence—a simple task after years of bold declarations—reveals something deeply unsettling about his relationship with truth.… Continue reading

Bernie Sanders to voters skipping presidential election over Israel: ‘Trump is even worse’

When I first heard Bernie Sanders’ remarks on the impending presidential election and the frustration that some voters are expressing about skipping it due to the situation in Israel, my immediate thought was a combination of anger and disbelief. The message is stark and clear: opting not to vote, especially because of a single issue, is tantamount to paving the way for someone like Donald Trump to return to power. Let’s be real here; the reality of what a Trump presidency would mean is terrifying.

Trump is not just another candidate; he represents an absence of basic human decency and an embrace of authoritarianism that is dangerous on multiple fronts.… Continue reading
