Bernie Sanders is running for reelection

I’m absolutely thrilled that Bernie Sanders is running for reelection as a senator. He’s a formidable force in American politics, and his commitment to social justice and progressive values is unwavering. Despite his age, which some critics see as a hindrance, I believe he still has much to offer in terms of wisdom and experience. It’s true that he could have endorsed a successor, but I think his decision to run again shows his dedication to the causes he believes in.

As a Vermont citizen, I have no doubt that Bernie will win again. The people of Vermont love him, and his track record of standing up for the working class and marginalized groups speaks for itself.… Continue reading

US Billionaires Pay Lower Tax Rate Than Working Class for First Time

I am deeply troubled by the recent revelation that U.S. billionaires paid a lower tax rate than working-class Americans for the first time in our nation’s history. This alarming data point highlights the stark inequality and unfairness that plagues our tax system. The fact that billionaires can escape paying their fair share of taxes by living off their wealth in the form of stocks is simply unacceptable.

It is infuriating to think that the wealthiest individuals in our country can exploit tax loopholes and avoid contributing their fair share to society. While hardworking Americans struggle to make ends meet and pay their taxes, billionaires continue to amass vast fortunes without being held accountable for their contributions.… Continue reading

Judge Gives Trump Final Warning: Jail Is Next

Donald Trump may have once held the most powerful office in the United States, but that does not excuse him from accountability for his actions. The recent warning from New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan should serve as a wake-up call to Trump and his supporters that no one is above the law. It is absurd to think that a former president, or a potential future one, could continuously flout the rules of the court without facing consequences.

The repeated instances of criminal contempt and witness tampering cannot be brushed aside with mere fines. It is clear that Trump sees himself as above the law, with little regard for the judicial system.… Continue reading

Trump classified documents trial postponed indefinitely

The news of the indefinite postponement of the trial involving former President Donald Trump and classified documents has left many of us with a bitter taste of injustice. The fact that the trial could have concluded before the upcoming election, casting a shadow over his prospects, only adds to the frustration and suspicion surrounding the proceedings. It is disheartening to see how easily the wheels of justice can be stalled when powerful individuals are involved.

The involvement of Judge Aileen Cannon, who was appointed by Trump himself to the federal bench, raises serious questions about impartiality and conflicts of interest in the legal system.… Continue reading

Donald Trump to attend fundraiser on day of Barron’s graduation

It seems like the news of Donald Trump planning to attend a fundraiser on the day of Barron’s graduation has caused quite a stir. Many people are questioning his priorities and commitment to his family, especially considering the significance of a child’s graduation. I can’t help but feel a sense of disappointment at the lack of importance placed on such a milestone event.

The fact that Trump may not attend his own son’s graduation speaks volumes about his character and values. It’s almost comical how he made a fuss about potentially missing the graduation due to court proceedings, only to turn around and prioritize a fundraiser instead.… Continue reading

Kristi Noem Cries ‘Fake News’ After Disastrous Interview on CBS

When I first heard about Kristi Noem’s disastrous interview on CBS, I couldn’t help but cringe at the absurdity of the situation. The fact that she openly admitted to shooting a 14-month-old puppy in the face, under the guise of protecting her children from a “dangerous animal,” is beyond comprehension. As someone who values empathy and compassion, I was truly taken aback by her lack of remorse or regret for such a heinous act.

It’s baffling to me how someone could think that sharing a story about shooting a dog would in any way boost their credibility or garner sympathy. The professor in my screenwriting class once said that if a villain isn’t hated enough, have them kick a dog.… Continue reading

Donald Trump Is Headlining a GOP Event in Minnesota on the Same Day as Barron’s Florida Graduation

I can’t help but shake my head at the news that Donald Trump is headlining a GOP event in Minnesota on the same day as Barron’s graduation in Florida. It’s a classic case of prioritizing his own agenda over his family. Trump’s broken promises and constant self-serving behavior never fail to disappoint. His statement about losing Minnesota and never coming back shows just how flippant he is about his commitments.

The fact that Trump had managed to get special permission to attend Barron’s graduation, only to potentially skip it for a campaign event, speaks volumes about his lack of genuine concern for his family.… Continue reading

The Satanic Temple plans to place ministers in Oklahoma schools if new bill becomes law

The Satanic Temple continues to shake up the status quo with their latest plan to place ministers in Oklahoma schools if a new bill becomes law. And to be honest, I couldn’t be more excited about it. Finally, a group willing to challenge the Christian domination in spaces where it shouldn’t belong.

This bill, which would allow volunteer chaplains in public schools, comes with some interesting strings attached. Background checks are required, and chaplains cannot have a history of felonies or being a registered sex offender. It seems like a low bar for the Satanic Temple, but a high bar for the Catholic Church.… Continue reading

Trump ‘Disgusted’ by Kristi Noem’s Puppy Execution Story – Donald Trump won’t stop talking about the South Dakota governor’s dog story and her poor grasp of “public relations,” sources tell Rolling Stone

I can’t wrap my head around the fact that Trump, of all people, is criticizing Kristi Noem for her poor grasp of public relations in the wake of her puppy execution story. It’s not her lack of morals that disgusts him; it’s the fact that she openly shared this repulsive act with the public. The man who famously lacks empathy, who has shown disregard for human life on several occasions, is now shaking his head over a puppy being killed. It’s absurd.

It’s interesting to note that Trump’s reaction isn’t about the cruelty of the act itself, but rather about how it reflects on his brand.… Continue reading

Biden Clears $6 Billion in Debt for Closed Art School’s Students

As I sit here reflecting on the recent news that President Joe Biden has taken action to forgive $6.1 billion in student loan debt for over 300,000 former attendees of the now-closed Art Institutes, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions. The Art Institutes, once a group of 50 campuses across the US, shut their doors in 2023 amidst accusations of fraud. This move by the Biden administration will bring automatic relief to those who enrolled between 2004 and 2017, even for those who have not yet applied for assistance. The forgiveness notices will be sent out this week, providing a sense of relief to so many who were burdened by the weight of student loan debt.… Continue reading
