I have been following the discussions surrounding Joe Biden’s age and cognitive abilities, especially in comparison to Ronald Reagan. It is evident that the treatment of Biden’s aging has been much harsher than that of Reagan’s. It truly baffles me when I hear about the things that come out of Trump’s mouth at his rallies. The fact that he wants an ‘Iron Dome’ over America is not only preposterous but showcases his lack of understanding of basic defense systems. The Iron Dome is actually a metaphor for a missile defense system, not a physical dome made of iron. It’s both amusing and terrifying that he may actually believe in the idea of constructing a literal iron dome over the continental United States.

As a young voter myself, the news that Joe Biden is leading Donald Trump by 23 points among younger voters is both encouraging and concerning. Encouraging because it shows that the majority of young people see through Trump’s facade and are choosing a more sensible and rational leader in Biden.
