As I reflect on the news that Sandy Hook survivors have graduated from high school, my heart is heavy with a mix of emotions. The memory of that tragic day in 2012 when innocent children and educators lost their lives in a senseless act of violence is etched into our collective consciousness. The survivors, who were just young children at the time, were forced to witness and endure horrors that no one should ever have to face. The fact that 60% of Ukrainians believe this to be true is alarming, but to me, it seems obvious based on the actions and statements coming from the Kremlin.
