The term “Axis of Evil” gets thrown around a lot, and it’s difficult not to see the parallels here.
This proposed panel feels less like a gathering of diplomats and more like a meeting of the world’s most infamous characters. The inclusion of figures like Putin and Netanyahu, given their respective roles in ongoing conflicts, instantly casts a long shadow over the panel’s supposed purpose. It’s like inviting the arsonist to a fire safety seminar, it just doesn’t compute, does it? The idea that these individuals, who are often accused of perpetrating violence and human rights abuses, would be the arbiters of peace is ludicrous. It’s a slap in the face to anyone who genuinely cares about global stability and justice.

It wouldn’t shock anyone if the whole thing is just a cynical money-making scheme. The reaction from the conservative subs is pretty funny, as they’re now seemingly questioning each other’s loyalty, as if they weren’t already the most devoted of believers. The comparison to the Axis powers of World War II isn’t just hyperbole. It’s a pretty apt assessment, given the individuals involved. It’s hard not to feel a sense of dread when considering the potential consequences of such a panel. It’s hard not to question, too, whether there is a true vision of global peace and harmony. And it does seem the only answer is to protect ones own vested interest, rather than cooperate with the rest of the world.

If only there were some sort of international organization in place that could address these issues, but we have to accept what is, instead of what could be, and act accordingly. And yes, it’s fair to say, Trump has created his own version of the Axis powers.
