The question that hangs heavy is, do Americans truly believe these actions are beneficial for their own country? The fact that a significant portion of the population gave Trump a second chance at the presidency raises troubling questions about their desires.
The situation has caused a sense of mourning for many, especially those who benefitted from the US-led world order. Some feel it’s a tragic choice, the deliberate destruction of a system that brought stability and prosperity. There’s a palpable sense of betrayal from allies who now harbor resentment toward the US, with some even considering it an enemy. This shift is seen as a direct consequence of the US’s threatening and insulting behavior towards its own allies. It’s a sentiment of disbelief, the realization that what was once unthinkable – viewing the US as an adversary – has become a stark reality.

Some feel that even Germany’s responses are weak because they are afraid to upset the USA.
The dismantling of the United States is happening before our eyes. Trump and his supporters are blamed for destroying everything the country has built. The US is now viewed as in chaos. The perception is that many Americans intentionally chose a path that would dismantle the world order, with a complete disregard for international laws established after World War II to prevent anarchy. The current state is being compared to the law of the strong.
The argument is that the US is being run by a series of strategic errors by key officials, which are beneficial to those looking to undermine the world order. Specifically, weakening NATO, alienating allies, and normalizing a lack of accountability for rogue nations are cited as dangerous. Concerns are raised about the idea that Trump was recruited as a KGB asset in the 1980s.

The focus shifts to an idea that the United States may become the divided states. It’s a sad irony that the country built for its own benefit is destroying itself. Neoliberalism is blamed for concentrating wealth in the hands of a few, leading to the rise of fascism.
