The investigations, stemming from alleged violations of the administration’s interpretation of Title IX, focus on policies allowing transgender girls to participate in girls’ athletics. In Maine, the investigation of Regional School Unit 19 concerns a complaint that the district allowed a male student to join a co-ed cheerleading squad and use female facilities. This investigation follows the president’s rescinding of a prior interpretation of Title IX and the state’s opposing stance, including a lawsuit against the Department of Education.

The fact that the administration is cracking down on a school for allowing a trans girl to join a *co-ed* cheerleading squad is, frankly, infuriating. It really makes you wonder what the actual problem is. Boys are allowed, girls are allowed – so what’s the issue? Especially when the very premise is that no one lost a spot on the team. It’s hard not to see this as anything other than pure bigotry, plain and simple.
The argument that trans people have an unfair advantage in *cheerleading* is laughable. It’s like they’re scraping the bottom of the barrel for reasons to justify their hatred. What’s next, are they going to ban trans people from… everything? This is just another confirmation that the attacks on transgender people are about hate, and hate alone. The reality is, a trans athlete is often seen as a threat simply for existing.
It’s about control, it’s about pushing a hateful agenda, plain and simple. They don’t want trans people anywhere, in any activity. For those that have been on the cheerleading squad and it was a co-ed sport, this shows you that it’s all about hate. It was never about “fairness” or “equity.” If a trans person can’t join a co-ed team, it’s about making them feel unwelcome. It’s always about the goal to remove the trans community from public life.
This whole situation is making it clear the administration doesn’t want transgender people to exist. There seems to be a strange obsession with transgender people, and it’s disturbing. It’s always just about the hate. Maga really is Mad About Genitals Again. This is not about the children, this is about political posturing and hatred.
They are okay with hypocrisy because their goal is not to treat people fairly. This is the truth. The Trump administration is working on dismantling the trans community. It shows all their “arguments” have been BS the whole time. The administration is pushing a social genocide agenda. This is the goal; exclude trans people. Once you exclude trans people, where will they go?
It’s about hate, not accepting reality and the fear that maybe a child might befriend someone different which could lead to… open-mindedness! The point is social genocide. It’s what the administration wants. This is the final point in their trans hate. It’s not about “men in women’s sports” or vice versa. They hate that society is becoming more accepting and want to make it so hard to be trans that people stay in the closet. The administration’s actions are nothing less than tyranny and terrorism.
