This claim was confirmed to be true, with the company, Vulcan Elements, announcing the loan on November 3, 2025. The DOD confirmed the loan, emphasizing its role in supporting the production of rare earth element processing and magnet manufacturing within the United States. While Trump Jr. is a partner at 1789 Capital, a Pentagon official stated he was not involved in the loan discussions.

It’s a massive amount of money, practically a king’s ransom, being handed over to a startup that has a direct connection to a figure like Donald Trump Jr. The sheer audacity of it all is breathtaking. It makes you wonder how these things are even allowed to happen.
The term “loan” feels like a misnomer in this context. It’s almost guaranteed that this “loan” will never be repaid. More likely, it’ll be quietly forgiven down the line. It’s essentially a gift, a transfer of wealth from taxpayers to a select few, and that’s precisely what fuels the sense of outrage. The GOP, unfortunately, seems to have turned America into a sort of kleptocracy, where those in power enrich themselves and their allies at the expense of everyone else.
It’s disheartening to see this level of corruption unfolding in plain sight. We’re talking about the systematic theft of billions of dollars, money that should be used for public services, for the benefit of ordinary people. Instead, it’s being funneled to cronies and friends. The anger should be palpable, and it should be a source of national outrage. You’d expect this kind of behavior to be met with severe consequences, but it’s often met with a shrug.
The contrast between the uproar over things like Hunter Biden’s alleged transgressions and the relative silence surrounding the blatant corruption of the Trump family is staggering. It raises the question of how many people are so deeply entrenched in their political beliefs that they can completely ignore or even excuse such egregious behavior. They seemingly overlook the enormous sums of money being funneled to Trump and his inner circle.
The whole situation makes you question what you’re working for. Why put in effort when the fruits of your labor can be so easily stolen by people who operate with impunity? The idea that these individuals are able to get away with this, while ordinary people struggle, is both frustrating and demoralizing. It’s hard to stay optimistic when you witness the extent of this level of theft.
You have to wonder if MAGA supporters will ever see the light. Whether they will ever acknowledge that they’ve been duped. It’s a tragic state of affairs, where accusations of Biden’s laptop become a shield against accountability for Trump’s actions. The real story is the rampant corruption of the Trump crime family. You’ve got to wonder if those in the GOP ever feel any shame for supporting this.
When you look at the big picture, you see that the US is becoming more like a third-world country. The focus on “Hunter Biden” or some other distraction is just that, a distraction. Instead, over 60% of the military budget goes unaccounted for each year. This loan is just a fraction of that. When the truth comes out, the nation could be utterly bankrupt.
This is a stark reminder that we are being robbed blind. We are literally watching our wealth being systematically plundered. It’s a sickening display of power and greed, and it’s being done right in front of our eyes. It’s a sad day when those in power are making it so easy for them to get prosecuted, knowing that their friends will be there to help them cover their tracks.
The whole thing feels like a carefully orchestrated grift, a well-oiled machine of corruption that continues to churn on. The swamp is not being drained. It’s becoming swampier than ever. The irony is that the supposed champions of draining the swamp are often the ones who are most deeply mired in it.
It’s tempting to think of the parallels with historical crime families. What the Corleones were trying to achieve, Trump seems to have accomplished. This transition from a crime family built on intimidation and violence to successfully getting into the White House is a disturbing reality. The only difference is that Michael Corleone would probably make a better president.
The very idea of the DOD giving a loan to anybody is bizarre. The Department of Defense isn’t a bank. It doesn’t have loan officers or risk managers. The whole situation just reeks of something suspicious. If you were a normal person, would you be able to get a loan from the DOD? Of course not.
And finally, if Donald Trump Jr. is reading this, I have a question. Can I get a $620 million loan, too?
