**Trump says no Tomahawks for Ukraine, for now**

Well, let’s be honest, did anyone *really* think Trump was going to just hand over Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine? It feels a bit like a no-brainer, doesn’t it? When you look at how he operates, always focused on the deal, the transactional nature of it all, it’s hard to imagine him doing anything that doesn’t benefit him personally. And, by the way, where are those Epstein files, huh? It’s almost comical how predictable it is.

The situation seems to be, as it always has been, one giant theater production. One call from Moscow, and that’s all it takes. The Pentagon might clear the way for Tomahawks, but the final decision, apparently, rests with Putin. And Putin’s already said no. So, here we are, not surprised in the slightest. Trump is simply pulling another disappearing act.

It’s almost like the thought of sending these missiles to Ukraine was never a real consideration. Remember that meeting with Zelenskyy and Hegseth a few weeks back? You can practically picture the scene, can’t you? Trump just casually dropping the news – “Yeah, I don’t think we’ll be giving you any Tomahawks” – while Hegseth just sits there, with that smug grin. It’s almost too easy to imagine. He clearly wants Putin to win, everything else is just a distraction.

It’s a familiar pattern, this reluctance to help Ukraine with the tools it needs. It’s hard not to feel like Trump’s doing everything he can to protect Putin, while letting down a key ally. It’s a sad situation and it makes you question the strength of America’s alliances if you are a foreign leader. Who would trust a country that consistently mistreats its friends? The whole situation is just disgraceful.

The fact is, Ukraine has shown that it doesn’t need U.S. equipment to cripple Russian infrastructure. They’re already doing that on their own, taking out critical oil and gas facilities, port loading infrastructure, chemical plants, and even drone manufacturers. Multiple times a week! So, in a way, Ukraine might not even need these Tomahawks, especially if they are going to come with strings attached or if Trump is going to go back and forth on the deal.

It seems to be the yes, the no, and the maybe all rolled into one. Trump’s basically playing the ultimate game of political flip-flop. “Yes, but no. Maybe tomorrow. The answer is definitely yes, but we’re celebrating opposite day.” He needs Putin’s approval, but he also hates Putin. It’s just a smokescreen. The only real plan seems to be the plan to use them for bombing Venezuelan boats.

And the irony isn’t lost here, it makes you want to roll your eyes. The headlines aren’t exactly surprising. Trump’s stated reasoning? “No, not really,” with the caveat, of course, that he “could change his mind.” The only thing that seems to be for certain, as it has been for years now, is that the situation is far more complicated than it needs to be.
