The sheer volume of “nonsensical ‘funny’ images” flooding his Truth Social feed is, as the comments suggest, staggering and, frankly, embarrassing. It’s the digital equivalent of a late-night social media binge, only this time it’s coming from a former US president.
He’s looking more unkempt than usual in these pictures, which is saying something given his public persona. The juxtaposition of these images with the fact that he’s a three-time draft-dodger, a convicted felon, and an insurrectionist makes the whole thing even more absurd. It’s like he’s forgotten the weight of the office he once held, and the oaths he swore. Posting something that says “REMEMBER YOUR OATH” when his actions speak so loudly of betrayal of those very oaths is nothing short of breathtaking.
The cognitive dissonance is almost comical, isn’t it? This is a person who faced actual legal repercussions for inciting an insurrection, and now he seems to be attempting to frame his opponents as the instigators.
