While Musk’s influence has waned and promised budget cuts fell short, Vought’s progress on Project 2025 has been limited. Legal challenges and the president’s spending habits have further stalled the agenda, as Vought is forced to navigate the president’s priorities. These distractions are ultimately undermining Vought’s attempts to eliminate certain programs, such as WIC.

Trump Is Actually Failing Fast—and the Rabid MAGA Bigwigs Know It
The courts might seem like a check, but let’s be realistic, the lower courts are simply delaying the inevitable. The Supreme Court? They’re basically all in. The underlying message of these articles, the ones that suggest the whole thing will just crumble on its own, is a dangerous way of thinking. Lies, as we all know, have expiration dates. The real reckoning is coming, and it’ll be next year. We should also not lose sight that the Democrats will not only be undoing the damage, but also clawing back what has been taken. The fear is that corporate control will preempt the rebuilding.
The GOP is in its death throes, like a roach after a dose of Raid. But here’s the kicker: we’re essentially living in a police state. And it doesn’t matter what people think. Words like “failing” are an interesting choice. While it might seem like he’s getting everything he wants, including tearing down half the White House, attacking people in international waters, and sending billions to Argentina which will then likely be funneled back to his offshore accounts. Also, Elon has stolen all of our information, Palantir is getting a massive contract to Big Brother the nation, and the Supreme Court is bending over backward for his administration. And let’s not forget the increase in violence against elected officials on the left.
The real failure is not being able to run a country effectively. The entire party is failing fast. It’s a totally expected result when you let a fraudster run the country. This narrative, the one that paints the administration’s inability to do MORE damage FASTER as some kind of victory, is just wishful thinking. Half of Project 2025’s objectives achieved is still a huge amount of damage.
Remember, the “DOGE fever has long since broken” for a reason – the damage has already been done. What are the challenges to the Trump administration amounting to? The courts keep ruling in his favor. And no one is being arrested. This article seems like a look inward rather than looking at the reality we have today. The “rabid MAGA bigwigs” don’t give a damn. He could pass away in his sleep, and they wouldn’t even bat an eye. The executive orders would still get signed.
He’s a prop, always has been, and always will be. We’re probably headed for a “Saint Trump” era. They aren’t going to let an election go where they lose and give any power back. They’re not governing like they’re running out of time. They are governing like they have all the time in the world.
There are only two kinds of headlines on Reddit: doom maxxing and cope maxxing. The Epstein files will probably be released or leaked when it’s clear that Trump has outlived his usefulness. That’ll buy people like Vought a few more months of the media and the public being distracted for them to blitzkrieg as much of Project 2025 as they can. He’s been “dying” and “failing” for 8 years or more. Stop with the fucking paywalls. You have something all important to say, let people read it. He’s only failing Americans. To the oligarchs he’s in fact doing better than anyone expected. That’s the point. His handlers will be carting him around in a vegetative state to get every last drop they can from him
Let’s not forget what’s at stake. Remember the poem “First they came…”? It applies here. They came for the immigrants, the trans people, the gay people, the anti-fascists, the protesters, the media, the scientists, the Democrats, the judges and lawyers, my neighbors who spoke up. Then they came for me. Was this the plan all along?
They have been saying this for years. A headline like this has come out every day for the past 10 years. Not fast enough! If you consider 50+ years of failure is “Fast” then ok. We have 10 years of MAGA to review and 39% of Americans still approve of this joker. That is “Slow”. It doesn’t matter. There won’t be any more elections. Elections can’t happen when the federal government refuses. The GOP is going to end democracy. Why does anyone think the GOP is going to allow Americans to vote them out? Where are those Epstein files? Congress should get back to work! Swear in the rep from Arizona! This mindset that he is going to self-sabotage is not going to end well for us. It’s by design. Watch a cabinet meeting and it is clear they are manipulating grandpa up to be a fall guy. He barely knows what day it is and then they feed him whatever they need to achieve their agendas.
The swamp has moved in to the White House. The real issue is if damage which MAGA has done -and will do for the next years- to the US democracy can be really healed at this point. Failing so hard that they are openly discussing martial law in 2026 to suspend midterms, and a 3rd POTUS term for 2028.
It needs to be faster. Lock him up! We need mass civil disobediance – protests are great but boycotts and strikes need to be the next line of offense. And continue to educate not isolate your MAGA friends and family. This needs to be not wishful thinking. Trump is the worst but he’s dominating If we are to come out of this with some semblance of unity, I hope we adopt anti-fascist reforms like Germany did post WW2. We let this sh1t go for far too long and it’s bitting us in the rear. These headlines are filled with confirmation bias and it’s getting exhausting. The ENTIRE COUNTRY is failing fast. Trump must be falling into a black hole because from what I can see, his fall hasn’t moved in 10 years. You need to get out of this mindset because it’s causing you to not do anything that matters to save your democracy.
