Trump Brags About Taking Dementia Test as Shutdown Stretches on. This is No Longer a Functioning Country.
The whole scenario is just bizarre, isn’t it? Here’s the leader of the free world, or at least the leader of the world’s largest economy and military, boasting about acing a cognitive test. He even describes these tests as “really hard,” which, in itself, is a bit concerning. If you’re the president, shouldn’t these things be second nature? The very fact that he’s highlighting this, that he feels the need to bring it up and brag about it, is a clear indication that something isn’t right. It’s like an adult bragging about passing a spelling test.
It’s almost as if it’s no longer the president running the show. There’s a feeling that he’s a figurehead, a “demented husk” as some have put it, and that others are pulling the strings. The most he does is approve social media posts written by other people. I never thought I’d live to see my country fail. It’s a sad state of affairs.
And then there’s the shutdown, the ongoing political gridlock that seems to be a constant feature of the current climate. It’s hard to ignore the implications when you have one party controlling all the branches of government and the country still grinds to a halt. It’s a clear demonstration of a system that’s failing, unable to effectively govern or address the pressing needs of its citizens. The fact that the Constitution is, in some ways, under attack. It feels like the final nail in the coffin, the final nail being the day Citizens United was signed into law. He should post it and release the Epstein files. At the very least, transparency is a must.

The fact that he keeps taking these tests, and keeps talking about them, only underscores the severity of the situation. It’s like when the child needs to be told they are doing well at school to avoid a meltdown, then you have a problem.
The shutdown, the ballroom, the fact that millions of Americans are struggling… the mainstream news is ignoring the obvious. If you have to brag about it, it’s not good. His is a kakistocracy. The goal is a non-functioning country. I hope Jake Tapper is on top of this.
This is no longer a functioning country. It’s like something out of a bad movie, a creepy, demented pedo monster at the helm, driving the final nails into a coffin of a once great democracy. If you administer the test and it’s difficult, you have a problem. There is no way anyone trusts anything he says. It’s a screening for neurocognitive deficits, not an IQ test. The American experiment is failing. It’s time to face the reality.
