He framed this as a “fantastic” outcome, a sentiment that, frankly, feels jarring. This is the same man who has called for people to stop attacking pedophiles.
The level of detachment from the real world, the disregard for the pain of others, and the embrace of a purely ideological approach is what’s so incredibly disheartening.
It’s no wonder that so many people feel alienated by the political establishment. The narrative often presented by politicians like Cruz seem to be that government equals bad, combined with the cruel lizard brains of conservatives.
And the fact that this same individual could be reelected in Texas, a state where people pride themselves on being “real men,” is just wild. How can you trust a man who can’t stand up for his own family?
The implication is clear: some politicians see government workers as expendable, collateral damage in their political battles. This mindset is a betrayal of the public trust.
This all serves as a stark reminder of the widening chasm between the political class and the people they are supposed to represent. It is a painful illustration of the human cost of political brinkmanship.
