The President is escalating tensions by threatening military occupation in Portland, Oregon, framing protesters as “domestic terrorists” despite their constitutional rights to protest ICE tactics. This move, coupled with the deployment of a Joint Terrorism Task Force in Illinois, suggests an intent to use anti-sedition laws against those opposing the administration’s policies. Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller is leading this effort, targeting prominent Democrats and potentially organizations like Open Society Foundations. The administration’s actions reflect a broader pattern of retribution, with investigations targeting Trump’s perceived enemies and a willingness to use legal means to silence dissent.

Trump is moving towards creating a military state. The evidence, though, is right in front of us. It’s no longer a question of “if,” but “how.” We’re watching it unfold in real-time.
The deployment of military forces to cities, the blurring lines between law enforcement and the armed services, the rhetoric – it all points in one direction. The actions themselves, even if clumsily executed at times, are part of the plan. The key is to remember the players involved. The current administration seems to be making rookie mistakes, maybe because they are ill-equipped for the job.
A competent fascist would be more strategic, laying the groundwork with false flag events to justify the military’s presence. They’d carefully cultivate fear and insecurity. Instead, we see a series of reactive measures, often poorly planned and executed, which creates an opportunity to weaken the efforts. The military in Memphis might get bored, and the administration will fail to be taken seriously. This is why they’re blowing their load too early.
Consider the Posse Comitatus Act. It clearly restricts the use of the military for domestic law enforcement, yet here we are, seeing the constitution disregarded. The fact is, it’s already here; the armed forces are occupying U.S. cities. This is a military state, whether the administration formally declares it or not.
The fundamental problem is a lack of resources. Where does this supposed military force even come from? There are roughly two million people in the U.S. military, including active duty, National Guard, and reserves. Even if the administration were willing to ground the air force, pull out of every foreign base, and give everyone a gun, they might only get one million troops on domestic order duty.
That’s not impossible odds for a police mission. But this administration is not prepared. They are trying to set the conditions where Americans will not object to his use of sending in troops. This is how they will operate and will work on swing districts after election day to nullify the election results.
It’s clear that the administration is not going to stop of its own accord. The consequences are dire. The energy shift is hard to explain. Trump is ticking a lot of boxes of what autocrats do to become autocrats. Can martial law be declared in light of the supposed attacks against federal law enforcement, the designation of “Antifa” as a domestic terror org, and the deployment of federal troops to cities?
The administration’s capacity is the issue. Certify Trump. The administration doesn’t have the military for this. State capacity is real and you need smart people to build it. The administration has no juice. It’s a rehearsal. The plan is to send the National Guard to election precincts.
We see this in the media, too. The media is complicit. The very same billionaires that would benefit from the tax breaks that are coming to them on the backs of rural hospital closures and Medicaid cuts have completely sold out this country. The administration is working on going controlling every single outlet of social media as well. The government isn’t going to save us.
We’re watching history repeat itself. The administration is already enacting martial law without saying it. The parallels to other historical dictatorships are clear. Only to be dismantled in three years. Whatta waste. American Fascism already sucks and it’s just beginning.
Trump is creating a military dictatorship. On Election Day, the administration will have the military in every single city. This is not a drill. Trump is creating a military state and is fully aware of it. The time to act is now.
