The social media platform Truth Social recently hosted a computer-generated video featuring Lara Trump and an AI-generated Donald Trump promoting the false “medbed” conspiracy theory. The video claimed every American would receive a “medbed card” granting access to facilities designed to restore health. The “medbed” theory, popular in far-right circles, falsely asserts that the “deep state” possesses advanced technology capable of curing any illness. While the video’s origin is unknown, it appears to have originated from an Instagram account associated with a fake name often used in romance scams.

Trump Quietly Deletes Unhinged AI “MedBed” Conspiracy Video
The insane part of this whole situation is that the video used AI to generate Trump’s voice. Does he even understand anymore whether the videos of him are real or not? Can you imagine having to explain to him that “MedBeds” are science fiction, that he didn’t record this video, and that the person in the footage isn’t actually him? Picture him, just staring blankly, trying to remember the last time he was sure something was real. It’s a bizarre thing to contemplate.
The fact that this was even a thing is just wild. Someone has to sit him down and explain the situation. The thought of that is hard to grasp. Where is he, in all of this? People tell him he’s still President, right? Is that actually true? It’s hard to even begin to understand.
Honestly, one has to wonder how quietly he actually does anything. It seems like anything would have been “shitting the bed” with this tweet. The whole thing just feels like a total mess. People are asking for the Epstein files, that is just how bad this is. The video itself, reportedly, came from an Instagram account under the name “Dr. David Richard Simon.” And that name alone is a red flag. It’s a common pseudonym used by scammers.
The whole thing is a disaster. I wonder if the video is still around somewhere? I’d like to see it. Someone should make some AI videos of him saying he wants to release the Epstein files and confess everything, and then also say he’s for universal healthcare!
The article titles about this are underwhelming. This wasn’t just a simple gaffe or a minor slip-up. If Biden had done this, the headlines would be drastically different. It’s not just a conspiracy, this is a serious issue. As a reminder, it’s actually a violation of the law for him to delete these types of things. He must preserve them for the archives.
You thought Joe Biden was a little confused and out of it… They should probably just give him a fake phone to play with. You have to be something special to believe in MedBeds. When my own father was dying, it was striking to see how his mind could be normal one moment, and the next he was off in another world entirely.
It’s baffling to think that Trump voters, in the end, handed the keys to everything over to, to put it lightly, a questionable individual. Is he even allowed to delete these posts? My favorite part of the whole ordeal was the announcement of a socialized healthcare service. The lack of critical thinking among many American voters is just astounding, and this is the result.
It’s more accurate to say that Trump’s handlers “quietly deleted an unhinged AI MedBed video in an attempt at damage control.” Him not remembering if he actually said or did something and then reposting it is nothing new. It’s been a problem for a decade.
If MedBeds were real, they would have cured his dementia, filtered the Mac sauce from his bloodstream, resolved his daddy issues, fixed his elephant ankles, and somehow slipped thorazine into Stephen Miller’s coffee substitute beverage. I’m tempted to email my Republican representative and ask when the MedBed registration Trump announced over the weekend will be open. I wonder if his goal was to somehow incite violence at hospitals.
Imagine the scene: desperate people showing up, hoping to be healed by non-existent MedBeds, thinking the same people who supposedly lied to them about COVID are now lying about MedBeds. Every journalist should be asking him about the video. It wouldn’t be surprising if one of his handlers got ahold of his phone and deleted it for him. Fortunately, nothing is ever truly deleted from the internet.
The whole situation raises questions of legality. It’s illegal for officials to delete tweets due to public record laws, right? Is Truth Social an official White House source of information? If so, wouldn’t the National Archives and Records Administration still have a copy of the deleted posting?
The possibilities for AI videos are endless. Sadly, things deleted from the Internet are essentially gone forever. The reality is that the lie gets put out there, it spreads, it sinks into the collective consciousness, and then it’s quietly deleted. Republicans continue to refuse to do their jobs and remove Trump from office so he can face criminal trials for the litany of crimes and scandals rocking his “administration.” It’s all a desperate attempt to shift attention away from the Epstein files.
This is a crazy conspiracy. The in-laws think he’s intelligent because “He IS Rich AnD a GoOd BuSiNeSs MaN.” I’ve always wondered, what’s the “loudly” way of deleting a post?
There are a few possibilities. Either: Trump genuinely believed this was a real announcement he recorded from the Oval Office. Or, he’s somehow involved in or profiting from the MedBed scam. Or, he’s just throwing a bone to his QAnon followers, letting them believe their MedBed conspiracy is confirmed and being implemented.
Whatever it is, any of those scenarios are grounds for impeachment. He is not fit to be president in any way, shape, or form. Republicans know it. We know it. The media knows it. SCOTUS knows it. The whole damn world knows it. And they’re all covering for him. Why?
So he doesn’t even know when a video of him is real or not? This is really concerning. We need to hang onto this one! America isn’t ready yet for such an amazing medical breakthrough!
In all seriousness, the whole situation is a disgrace. He is not quietly deleting the plan to close oral hospitals and Medicaid. That’s still happening. My favorite part of this particular conspiracy is that the cards cost $477. And of course, nothing about this is covered by right-leaning outlets. As a normal person, what am I supposed to do when the president is a psycho dumbass? Is there a loud way to delete a social media post? How quickly before he deleted it? As a moron, my daughter noticed I was constantly reposting stuff on Tiktok when mindlessly flipping.
He was an idiot before the dementia, and it’s just gotten especially terrible by now.
