So, let’s get right to it: A Trump appointee confirmed that Project 2025 was the plan all along. Honestly, this isn’t exactly a revelation, is it? It’s more of a resounding “No Fucking Shit, Sherlock,” as some might put it. We’ve all been watching this unfold, and the pieces of the puzzle, while potentially disturbing, fit together with alarming precision. The whole thing has a “duh” quality to it.
It seems that the game plan, laid out in Project 2025, was always the one that was going to be followed. Remember the denials? The “I don’t know anything about that”? The fact-checkers who, for some reason, didn’t quite grasp the gravity of the situation? It’s all part of the show now. We knew it, many in the non-MAGA world certainly knew it, and it seems even some MAGA supporters, perhaps subconsciously, suspected it. The author(s) of Project 2025, it seems, weren’t shy about the truth, were they?
Think about it: the Heritage Foundation denying global warming is just the tip of the iceberg. Trump, during his campaign, distanced himself from Project 2025. He called some of its ideas “absolutely ridiculous,” yet, in reality, he appointed its key players to important positions and has seemingly begun implementing many of its proposals. The level of pretense is almost comical, and yet, here we are.
And the appointments! People like Russ Vought, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, who helped write parts of Project 2025, and E.J. Antoni, now nominated for Commissioner of Labor Statistics, are involved in this. Then there’s Brendan Carr at the FCC, who, get this, wrote the chapter on the FCC for Project 2025. What do you expect? This isn’t a coincidence. It’s a strategic implementation of a pre-planned agenda.
The fact that so many key figures in the current administration are directly tied to Project 2025 and the Heritage Foundation is further testament to the depth and breadth of the plan. The ACLU has identified at least 140 people from Trump’s administrations who are connected to Project 2025, with Newsweek reporting that 31 of its contributors previously served in his first term. The extent to which this plan, and its personnel, were being used shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.
What is even more alarming, perhaps, is the seemingly coordinated effort to downplay or dismiss this whole scenario. The press sprinted to every outlet they had to downplay it during the election! It seems like, at least in the eyes of some of us, the media didn’t take it as seriously as they should have.
Trump’s reversals aren’t presented with contrition or explanation. They’re just… implemented. It’s a masterclass in not caring, in a way. He’s not trying to change his ways. He’s not trying to adapt to changing circumstances. He’s just doing what was written in the book. The same book people swore wasn’t being read.
The irony is, Project 2025 was a roadmap. It wasn’t hidden. It was right there, in plain sight, for anyone who cared to look. And the fact that it’s being followed, even now, should be a wake-up call. Why hide your agenda when you can use it?
There’s something deeply disturbing about the fact that so many were either unaware or unwilling to acknowledge this was the plan. It’s like they were waiting for permission to see what was unfolding. And the lack of surprise from those who have been paying attention underscores how predictable this whole thing was. It’s a political playbook, and they’re running the plays.
We’re talking about people enacting plans, following strategies. And while we may not like the game, or the players, we can’t say we didn’t see it coming. It’s a story that’s been unfolding for quite some time, and the ending, if not changed, is going to be a devastating one. So, yes, it was the plan all along. And it’s being executed, almost flawlessly. And that’s the scary part.
