Leavitt Says Epstein Files Aren’t Fake—Just the Ones About Trump. It’s a statement that hangs in the air, doesn’t it? Like a half-baked explanation after a particularly egregious act. It’s the kind of pronouncement that makes you do a double-take, wondering if you heard it correctly. The files supposedly exist, we’re told, but the inconvenient parts, the ones that might implicate a certain someone, well, those are the fakes.
The whole thing feels like a twisted game of “gotcha,” doesn’t it? Elementary school logic applied to a high-stakes, life-altering situation. We’re supposed to believe that a massive trove of documents, potentially detailing years of criminal activity, is somehow meticulously curated to shield one individual. And that individual, of course, is the one who happens to have a long history of, shall we say, *unconventional* relationships and a penchant for stirring up controversy. It’s a narrative where reality bends to accommodate a pre-determined outcome.
The sheer audacity of it all is almost impressive. They are telling us not to believe what we see, what we hear, and what we know. It’s a classic example of gaslighting, where the goal is to undermine our sense of reality and make us question our own judgment. This reminds us of something Orwell wrote, doesn’t it? “The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” How appropriate it is now.
The timeline is rather convenient. First, the files are nonexistent, then they exist. Then our guy is an informant, and then he was helping to bring down the main perpetrator. And now, finally, we’re told that the files are real, just the mentions of our guy are fake. This is a masterclass in the Narcissist’s Prayer, playing out in real time. “I didn’t do it, and if I did, it wasn’t that bad, and if it was that bad, it wasn’t my fault.” It’s almost comical in its blatant disregard for truth and accountability.
Let’s face it, the constant backpedaling and revisionist history is exhausting. It’s the same pattern we’ve seen time and time again: deflect, deny, and obfuscate until the public gets bored or distracted. It’s a game of smoke and mirrors, with the hope that the real story will fade into the background. But, unfortunately, this time they may have gone too far.
We’re presented with videos. We’re presented with quotes. We are presented with actions. The evidence just continues to pile up and it is hard to ignore, no matter how much it is denied. And yet, the claim persists: the files exist, but the portions involving a specific individual have been altered. If this is all untrue, surely, they should release the files and prove their point, right?
It feels like our tax dollars are going towards protecting someone who should already be fully scrutinized. We are left to wonder if the current administration is merely a revolving door for a certain type of corruption. The level of brazenness is breathtaking. The fact they are using the same playbook is just laughable.
We’re expected to simply accept that a vast conspiracy has been cooked up to discredit someone with a long history of controversial behavior and questionable associations. It’s a narrative that insults our intelligence, and frankly, it’s insulting to the victims. How can anyone in good conscience believe this?
So, we’re left with the uncomfortable truth that we will never know the full story. This is a cover-up, and a big one. It’s about the corruption at the core of our country and the lengths some will go to keep their secrets a secret.
And ultimately, we’re left with this: a deeply unsettling situation where the evidence is almost overwhelming. What will happen when the truth inevitably comes out? Will people finally turn from their loyalty and have him punted? Let’s wait and see.
