Donald Trump’s net approval rating falls to lowest point ever. Well, it seems we’re here again, reading the headline that’s become a broken record in the news cycle. The thing is, every time this headline pops up, it’s a stark reminder of how divided we are.
I mean, seriously, 43% approval? It’s hard to wrap your head around it. Some people are just absolutely loyal. And let’s be clear, some people consider the actions of Trump to be completely garbage. Still, it appears that many Americans still back his behavior and performance. The very idea that the government should provide stability, safety, and promises of peace and prosperity to the people feels broken.
It’s like this contract was torn up, not just by one person, but by a whole bunch of people who should be leading the nation. And it’s not just Trump himself, you know? It’s a whole network, and frankly, it’s scary. Some people see it as a form of domestic terrorism.
Some people are already building the camps to confine us, sending the military to flood our streets, and making laws to put a muzzle on our right to free speech. They gut our healthcare and access to social safety nets while stuffing their pockets at our expense. It is true, the GOP is to blame.
It is a fact that Trump says he can do whatever he wants. The rhetoric and actions, it’s all disturbing. Wake up, people! Some people fear that there won’t be a legitimate election that’s never coming.
But, here we are. The truth is, the numbers still feel way too high. His approval ratings feel impossibly high. Even after everything, how is this possible?
The issue is, it’s still too high. With all the other controversies out there, it’s hard to imagine the percentage isn’t dropping. It would require a change in the mindset of the believers, and I don’t see that happening. People are going to continue to fix elections.
Even though it is stated, Donald Trump rapes children, that’s still a huge problem for many people. It will never break below 40. Some people are saying the entire world looks on in horror at the near collapse of democracy in the US. The sad truth is, nearly half the country have full support of whatever is happening. It would stop going down if they would stop asking people. Fire the pollsters!
There are some that say “what you don’t think people change?” I’m im just like that statement is fucking stupid and both you and the grams are evil people and that they’re lucky hell doesn’t exist or they’d be going there for sure. Nothing will change. It’ll get much much worse. The approval ratings don’t matter to the people in power.
He exited the White House in 2021 with 34%. Why people seemed to have amnesia of how poorly he did in his first term by the time 2024 rolled around, I will never understand. Fox News is the only thing that keeps his job approval as high as it is. My maga friends watch it constantly and couldn’t be less informed.
And what about initiatives and referendums? The process where citizens can place legislation on the ballot to vote, or vote down existing legislation? That means the people hold the power.

I’ve been seeming this headline from various news sources for seven years and the number is always at or around he same. This is well over the 40th time I’ve read this headline in the last 8+ years, which makes any approval rating over -10% a mathematical impossibility.
It’s hard to fathom that still, people drink the kool-aid. Knowing what we know, it’s hard to believe anyone still supports him.
For his handlers, the people that are behind him, it’s irrelevant. The Trump voters were useful idiots, whose only purpose was to put him into a position where he and the people behind him could smash the system and stay in power indefinitely.
