Trump Is Already Plotting to Steal the Midterms, because it’s been clear for a while that the GOP is against democracy, and the evidence points to a long-term plan of attack. He essentially telegraphed his intentions before, even stating that people wouldn’t need to vote again if he were re-elected. The fact that he ended his last term with an attempted coup speaks volumes.
The plotting, in reality, didn’t just begin recently. It started during his first term. This kind of maneuvering, unfortunately, seems to be a pattern for Republicans. It’s a direct challenge to the Constitution and the very foundations of the American electoral system.
He’s already laying the groundwork by advocating for drastic changes to voting procedures that seem suspiciously aligned with the goals of those who oppose free and fair elections. He wants to eliminate mail-in voting, restrict early voting, and impose strict proof-of-citizenship requirements. He wants to empower anyone to challenge a voter’s right to participate, potentially removing them before they can even cast their ballot. These proposed changes, interestingly, echo suggestions received after meetings with Putin, adding another layer of concern.
The very idea that someone who led an insurrection against the United States is actively plotting another one is deeply disturbing. It raises the question of how a nation can grapple with such a blatant threat to its democratic principles. It’s a betrayal of everything America stands for, and it’s a dangerous path to tread.
The proposed changes would not only disrupt the voting process but also create doubt and mistrust, just before the midterms. This isn’t surprising to anyone who’s been paying attention. His past actions speak louder than any words, and his intent seems clear: to undermine the legitimacy of the elections.
This isn’t a surprise at all. He is plotting to steal the 3rd term, by starting a fake war at some point. He literally told everyone what his plans were. People need to understand that the country is under threat, held hostage by a figure who seems intent on dismantling the very systems that govern it.
We need to realize the gravity of the situation: He’s openly planning a third term. The agenda was in place before he even won the last election. Some people would say he already stole the 2024 elections. We must be aware of the actions he is taking now to make sure he never has to face any of his crimes again.
It’s essential that we don’t normalize this behavior. What he is doing is not normal, and it’s a direct threat to democracy. We can’t allow this to become just another political tactic. The only way this can be stopped is if people actively resist and don’t settle for fascism.
The efforts to undermine the midterms are happening because a backlash may be coming. The hope is that the Democrats will have a plan for 2028. The Democrats did warn everyone about this. This is the number one issue we are facing. The way they want people to vote, you should go and vote in person to make sure your vote counts.
