He cheats at golf, at business, at politics, and, let’s be honest, seemingly at everything. This isn’t about nuanced policy disagreements; it’s about a pattern of deceit that’s been playing out for years. The claim of a 1500% decrease in crime in “three months” just screams fabrication. And the accompanying anecdotes, like the arrest of “eighty billion liberal criminals causing havoc in DC!”, are straight out of a fictional narrative, yet they are meant to appear as truth.
The whole charade feels like something ripped from a dystopian novel. Rewritten history, re-imagined facts, and a leader who claims to be the only one capable of fixing a problem he likely created or exaggerated in the first place. He’s even been quoted saying crime around the world has gone down 1800% since he became president. It’s a power play, a desperate attempt to create an illusion of crisis, allowing him to justify the imposition of, or in his words, claim, a police state.
This strategy, of course, relies on a certain level of naiveté among his supporters, a belief that he’s the only one who “gets it.” It’s about ignoring your own eyes and ears, trusting him implicitly, no matter how absurd the claim. He makes a point to demean anyone else and says they should be investigated. It’s a dangerous game, especially when it involves using such fabricated data to justify actions that could have serious consequences.
