These files, reportedly held by the FSB, allegedly involve Trump’s dealings with accounts linked to his name, as well as testimonies and videos related to violence against women and underage girls. Mussayev claims this information is used to pressure Trump into supporting Russian interests, which could influence his actions regarding NATO, the EU, and the war in Ukraine. Ex-KGB Boss Says Putin Has Videos and Documents That Could Destroy Trump: Let’s be real, this whole idea of some secret trove of information that could finally bring Trump down has been circulating for ages. And honestly, it’s hard not to feel a bit cynical about it at this point. We’ve heard whispers and rumors, the “P-tape” always being a hot topic, and yet, here we are. The question really becomes, is there anything left that could actually “destroy” him? The answer, sadly, appears to be a resounding maybe not.
The so-called “P-tape” has been a persistent rumor, but realistically, would it even matter? Trump’s supporters are famously steadfast. It’s almost like they’ve built a fortress of belief around him. Anything that’s leaked, even if genuinely embarrassing or shocking, would likely be dismissed as “fake news,” “AI-generated,” or “completely doctored” by his most ardent followers. His political career should have been over a long time ago.
If such a thing were to exist, the thought that there might be more damaging material, even perhaps a copy of the Epstein files, which is not a far stretch to consider given the current climate. The speculation around “piss tapes” and other potential scandals has been constant.
Ultimately, the crux of the matter is, the people who support him, are simply not going to be swayed. The fact is, the man is a felon. He has been convicted of a ton of crimes and reached 34 felonies and still no consequences. Yet, people voted for him. He is even said to be on the Epstein List. Trump has done horrible things in the past and continues to do so, the base he cultivated seem not to care.
And that’s the real problem, isn’t it? We’ve seen him say, “He could shoot someone on 5th avenue and wouldn’t lose a single vote.” It feels like he’s been proven right. The Republican Party was outed as having drug fueled sex orgies by multiple Republican members who suddenly lost all support and lost political re-elections. The evidence is already out there. The man knows that he has won life, and that it has damaged the US economy and legislation for generations to come.
The notion that anything could damage his reputation at this point seems far-fetched. The man has psychophants around him who will literally burn the nation down to stay in power. Those who could actually hold him accountable, well, they seem to have their own skeletons in the closet. The Republican party seems to have the same skeletons to hide too. They hold guns to their heads, in fear of repercussions and as such they are not likely to destroy him, to protect themselves from scrutiny. There is nothing Trump will face.
The reality is, the base won’t care. Releasing these videos and documents might satisfy those who already dislike Trump, but it’s unlikely to change the minds of his followers. They’ve already weathered so many storms. They elected him and continue to do so.
We’ve known about the alleged connections to Russia for years. The Epstein list and the countless scandals haven’t fazed his support base. He was impeached twice. The man could have 100+ more controversies and still be able to maintain the support of his base.
In short, whatever Putin might have, it’s a long shot that it will bring Trump down. It could be a boon to the rest of the world to see the end of his supporters. The USA will continue to re-elect those that they know and are terrible and corrupt, so really, what difference would it make?
