She’s the founder of organizations that actively pushed misinformation and even spearheaded rule changes that could potentially delay or complicate election certification processes. This is the person they chose to make sure elections are fair? The very definition of putting the fox in charge of the henhouse.
The role she’s been given, Deputy Assistant Secretary on Election Integrity at the DHS Office of Strategy, Policy and Plans, didn’t even exist before. Apparently, the previous administration didn’t see the need for this particular position.
